Breakfast/Prep Cook Responsibilities Include:

  • Work under the direction of the Head Chef to support daily culinary operations.
  • Prepare and execute daily breakfast service for hotel guests according to company standards.
  • Assist with preparation for dinner service, wedding tastings, private events, and other culinary needs.
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store food and supply deliveries.
  • Maintain assigned prep areas and workstations in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
  • Operate assigned kitchen stations independently or collaboratively as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Set up, stock, break down, and close out workstations according to daily service needs.
  • Ensure all food preparation, product quality, and kitchen cleanliness align with company standards.
  • Follow DOH sanitation guidelines, food safety practices, and proper labeling/storage procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with the Head Chef and culinary team regarding prep needs, inventory, timing, and service priorities.

We're Looking For a Candidate Who Has:

  • Experience working in a professional kitchen.
  • A need to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing, seasonal menus for both our restaurant and on-site events.
  • Passion for detail, consistency, and timing
  • A desire to learn, grow and evolve as a culinary professional
  • The ability to communicate clearly, positively and proactively with all departments to ensure a great staff/guest experience
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work cleanly and efficiently
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must have reliable transportation

Weekly Schedule (approximate):

  • Friday 6:30a-1:00p
  • Saturday 6:30a-1:00p
  • Sunday 6:30a-1:00p
  • Monday 6:30a-1:00p
  • Tuesday 6:30a-1:00p

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $25 per hour
  • Health, Dental & Vision Benefits Available for full-time employees with $550/mo subsidy for full-time employees
