Full-Time Wed–Sun 3–11 | $28/hr | Mon/Tue off | 40 hrs guaranteed

it’s HIM is an elevated cocktail lounge + members-driven nightlife venue in Hell’s Kitchen. We’re building a small but high-quality kitchen program focused on presentation, consistency, and craft.

This is a hands-on lead line cook position for someone who loves execution and takes pride in clean, beautiful plates. Our kitchen is intentionally streamlined (oven + fryer) — we’re not looking for someone who needs a huge kitchen to create excellence. We’re looking for someone who can bring high standards and elevate our plating, finishing, and consistency.

Schedule
  • Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

  • Wednesday–Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Always off Monday + Tuesday (2 consecutive days off weekly)

Pay
  • $28/hour

  • Opportunity for growth + raise based on performance

What You’ll Do
  • Execute a small menu with speed, consistency, and urgency

  • Plate and present every dish with high visual standards

  • Prep and organize mise en place for service

  • Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and food safety standards

  • Keep the kitchen station efficient, calm, and professional

  • Contribute ideas to improve plating, garnishes, finishes, and service flow

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years BOH / line cook experience

  • Strong sense of presentation and plating

  • Clean, organized, reliable, and professional

  • Calm under pressure and works with pride + urgency

  • Eager to learn, improve, and refine craft

  • No drama / no ego / no toxic kitchen behavior
