Job Details
Lead our kitchen team and deliver a world-class ramen experience at MENSHO Jersey City. You will own kitchen operations end to end — quality, consistency, prep systems, and team development — for a brand recognized by the MICHELIN Guide.

COMPENSATION & INCENTIVES
- Salary range: $90,000–$100,000/year (commensurate with experience)
- Performance bonus: 5%–10% of annual salary based on store performance (tiered by achievement)
- Eligibility for our store profit-sharing pool
- Paid pre-opening training at Mensho San Francisco

CORE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management experience
- Japanese dining / ramen experience preferred
- Strong kitchen leadership and operational management skills
- Responsible for kitchen operations, food quality, prep systems, and inventory management
- Ability to manage labor cost and kitchen operational cost control
- Experience in high-volume kitchen environments preferred
- Comfortable working in an open kitchen environment
- Strong team training and kitchen organization skills
- Japanese、Korean、Chinese language ability is a plus

This is a hands-on, working manager role — you will be on the floor and in service every day, leading by example rather than directing from the office

Must actively work service shifts alongside the team, not a directive-only manager

HIRING TIMELINE (2026)
- Resume deadline: end of June
- Interview invitations: late June through July
- Paid training at Mensho San Francisco: late July through August
- Return to Jersey City for opening preparation: September
- Pre-opening setup: September–October
- Target opening: around October
