Job description:

We are seeking an exceptional Traveling Executive Private Chef for a highly confidential UHNW household operation based primarily in Florida, with regular international travel throughout the UK, Europe, and Asia and seasonal work onbaord the family's private Yacht.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, technically strong, and emotionally intelligent chef to join a growing private service team supporting a very high-profile principal. The role requires a chef capable of operating at an elite standard while maintaining humility, flexibility, discretion, and a collaborative attitude under constant movement, changing schedules, and high operational demands. This is a high-paying and high-expectation position for a chef operating at the very top level of private service.

This is not a role suited to someone seeking predictable schedules, frequent downtime, or low-pressure service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing refined daily cuisine focused on high-quality ingredients, creativity, flavour, nutrition, and consistency. The principal enjoys sophisticated European-style cuisine alongside healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. Strong knowledge of macro-based nutrition is essential, including the ability to prepare flavourful meals aligned with specific dietary goals and wellness-focused lifestyles.

The kitchen operation is being built to an exceptionally high standard, and the selected chef will play a key role in helping create systems, recipes, logistics, and culinary structures from the ground up. This position is ideal for a chef with a high-energy “builder” mentality who enjoys working under pressure while helping create long-term operational excellence rather than simply maintaining an existing setup.

The chef will eventually lead the development of the wider culinary team for the family. Once the full structure is established, the role will transition into a rotational setup involving multiple chefs to ensure continuous support across international travel schedules and properties.

The chefs will be encouraged to complete culinary stages within Michelin-starred restaurants and undertake additional training opportunities to continue developing their creativity, techniques, and professional growth all expenses covered by the company.

The principals value authentic cuisine, refined presentation, and chefs who can adapt across different culinary traditions without becoming repetitive. Previous Michelin-starred restaurant experience, luxury hospitality experience, private chef experience, or superyacht experience will all be considered highly advantageous.

The environment is fast-paced, demanding, and highly dynamic, but also extremely professional. Team culture is collaborative and non-hierarchical, with all staff expected to contribute positively to operations. Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.

The role will involve preparing meals for the principals, occasional guests, and contributing to a high-quality staff meal program. The chef must also be comfortable travelling internationally on short notice and adapting quickly to changing schedules, locations, and operational needs.

This role will require significant commitment during the initial months. The chef will need to work closely with the family’s Chief of Staff to establish systems, understand the principals’ preferences, and travel extensively to fully integrate into the operation. The Chief of Staff will act as the main point of communication and support between the chef and the principals to ensure long-term success and operational consistency.

This is not a role suited to someone seeking predictable schedules, frequent downtime, or low-pressure service. The family travels extensively and operates at a very fast pace, requiring a chef who is highly flexible, mobile, and capable of thriving within a demanding international environment. Candidates with personal obligations that limit flexibility or travel should carefully consider the nature of this opportunity before applying.

Due to the confidential nature of the position, shortlisted candidates will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before progressing to interview stage. A trial period and tasting process will also form part of the final selection procedure.

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Dual US/EU nationality or strong international travel flexibility is highly preferred.
