Food Runner – Verjus

Verjus is seeking a professional, polished, and hospitality-driven Food Runner to join our team. We are a wine-focused restaurant and bar in the heart of San Francisco, offering thoughtful cuisine, warm hospitality, and an intimate guest experience inspired by European wine bars and cafés. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests
• Communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and support staff to ensure seamless service
• Maintain a strong understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily changes
• Assist with table maintenance and overall dining room flow
• Support the service team with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail
• Uphold Verjus and Quince & Co. standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and presentation

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Fine dining or high-volume experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
