The Role
Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House leadership team, the Polisher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of all service ware. This role is essential to supporting the flow of service by ensuring all plates, glassware, and flatware are polished, stocked, and ready for use.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain the polishing station according to restaurant standards
- Polish and restock all plates, glassware, flatware, and service items to ensure readiness for service
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas for all service ware
- Follow established steps of service to support a high-quality guest experience
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to support smooth and efficient service flow
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization across service areas as needed
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties thoroughly and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and presentation
- Able to work efficiently and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset across FOH and BOH teams
- Strong work ethic with a proactive and supportive approach
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Reliable, punctual, and maintains a professional appearance at all times
- Maintain all required health and sanitation certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
- Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
