Brunch Line Cook (with Bread Program Experience)
IMPERFECTO – Washington, DC

IMPERFECTO is seeking a skilled and driven Brunch Line Cook to join our team. This role is integral to our evolving brunch program, with a strong focus on bread production and execution as part of our pastry integration.

We are looking for a cook who is comfortable working across stations, has a strong sense of organization, and brings both discipline and creativity to the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute brunch service with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Manage and support bread production, including mixing, fermentation, shaping, and baking
  • Work collaboratively with the pastry and savory teams as part of an integrated station
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • Contribute to daily prep, service, and ongoing refinement of the brunch program

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a line cook in a high-level kitchen
  • Bread-baking experience is required (artisan breads, fermentation, sourdough knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to work cleanly and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement
