Located in Nopa, Early to Rise is one of San Francisco's most loved brunch spots, featuring an old-school menu, but with all of our major staples made in the house. We are proud to make all of our own breakfast meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.), breads (bagels, English muffins and so on) as well as butter, hot sauce, jam ... you name it.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Server The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, with the ability to manage a fast-paced thriving brunch experience for our guests.

The staff at Early to Rise is expected to work as a team, and members must be able to cover at least one other position in the restaurant, as need arises.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Make high-quality cocktails, n/a cocktails, coffee and espresso drinks while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
● Applicants must be able to maintain clean work habits and high standards of hospitality during very busy services, maintaining an attentive demeanor at all times and remaining calm during periods of heavy volumes.
● Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to all guests, anticipating the guest’s needs before requests are made.
● Maintain an extensive knowledge of the food menu to assist guests with any inquiries or suggestions.
● Handle cash till according to restaurant standards, credit policies and procedures. Completes server close out at end of shift. Collects and reports all tips.
● Interact with our team in a positive manner and actively assist coworkers.
● Follow proper time and attendance and uniform procedures. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important at ETR.
● Maintain the highest standard of hygiene and sanitation and follow Health Department standards for hygiene and safe food handling.
● The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Management.
● Able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

● Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.
● Able to lift up to 25lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis.
● Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
● Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
● Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.
● Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
