Social & Content Lead (Hospitality)
(Autonomous / Owner-Operator Role)

The Role

Fox Lifestyle Hospitality Group (FLHG) is seeking a self-directed Social & Content Lead to own our social presence across multiple NYC hospitality brands.

This role does not have a day-to-day supervisor. You will be trusted to identify opportunities, create content, publish consistently, engage our audience, measure performance, and evolve strategy — without waiting for direction.

If you need frequent approvals, detailed content calendars created for you, or a manager to assign tasks, this role is not a fit.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end social strategy and execution for multiple restaurant/bar brands
• On-site content capture (Reels, Stories, short-form video, photo)
• Posting cadence, voice, and brand differentiation by venue
• Community engagement (DMs, comments, reposts, UGC)
• Performance tracking and monthly insight reporting
• Identifying trends before being asked
• Proposing ideas and executing them independently

What You Will NOT Do

• Wait for approvals on every post
• Only “schedule content”
• Work from stock imagery
• Ask what to post next

You Are Likely a Fit If

• You have owned social accounts end-to-end (not just assisted)
• You’ve worked in hospitality, nightlife, food & beverage, or experiential brands
• You are comfortable walking into a venue and creating content solo
• You understand pacing, vibe, energy, and cultural relevance
• You make decisions confidently and adjust quickly
• You enjoy autonomy and accountability

You Are NOT a Fit If

• You are early-career or entry-level
• You rely on constant feedback or approvals
• You prefer agency-style client direction
• You need rigid structure to be productive
• You’ve never been responsible for results
