Position Summary
Back Home Hospitality is seeking a Director of Events & Sales to lead and scale our company-wide private dining, events, catering, and off-site business across our growing portfolio of restaurants and concepts. This is a senior, revenue-driving leadership role with direct oversight of all Event Managers across BHH properties, who are responsible for delivering private dining and group dining experiences at each location. The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on operational oversight to ensure exceptional execution, strong financial performance, and consistent brand standards.
Qualities Required:
- 7+ years of leadership experience in hospitality (restaurants, catering, events, or hotel F&B required)
- Proven experience leading private dining, events, or catering programs within a hospitality-driven organization
- Demonstrated success managing multi-venue teams and distributed event or sales staff
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth while maintaining pricing discipline and profitability
- Extensive experience with contract negotiation, client relations, and event logistics
- Exceptional organizational, financial, and project management skills
- Confident, hands-on people leader with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations

Core Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute company-wide sales strategies for private dining, catering, and events
- Set revenue targets and budgets in partnership with Ownership, Finance, and Operations
- Identify new corporate clients, partnerships, and growth opportunities
- Establish systems to track, forecast, and report sales performance across all properties
- Partner with Finance on pricing strategy, revenue reporting, and commissions tracking
Private Dining, Events & Catering Operations
- Oversee all private dining programs across BHH restaurants
- Lead all catering and off-site event initiatives from inquiry through final billing
- Set standards for event logistics, staffing models, equipment, and execution
- Collaborate with Culinary leadership to develop menus and offerings aligned with brand and margin goals
Team Leadership & Management
- Directly manage, coach, and develop all Event Managers across BHH properties
- Set expectations, workflows, and accountability for event sales and execution
- Build scalable systems, training, and best practices for multi-venue consistency
- Foster strong collaboration between Event Managers, GMs, Culinary, and Operations teams
Client & Relationship Management
- Serve as senior-level contact for key and high-profile clients
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with a focus on profitability
- Ensure a high-touch, seamless guest experience across all events
- Represent Back Home Hospitality at industry events and strategic partnerships
