BAKERY DIRECTOR
Good Stuff Bakery
(Operating from Good Stuff Farms, Solvang, CA)
Located in Solvang, California, Good Stuff Bakery operates out of Good Stuff Farms, a family-owned apple orchard rooted in agriculture, seasonality, and hands-on stewardship of the land. The bakery is built around craft, consistency, and thoughtful use of ingredients—highlighting fruit grown and harvested on the farm, as well as fresh produce sourced from other farmers in the local community.
In addition to our own offerings, Good Stuff Bakery produces baked goods for partner businesses, working side by side with other food operations in a shared, production-focused environment. This means the work is real, the expectations are clear, and consistency matters—for us and for the people we bake for.
We believe great bakeries are organized, focused, and collaborative—even when the music is loud and the pace is real. We take our work seriously without tolerating ego, disrespect, or burnout culture. Clear systems, mutual respect, and accountability matter more to us than polished vibes or pretense.
Some days the stereo is blasting ’90s horrorcore hip hop, other days it’s Rage Against the Machine, some days it’s quiet—but the standard is always the same: show up, do excellent work, and treat people well.
This is a key leadership role in a growing business. As Good Stuff Bakery expands production, partnerships, and scope, there is meaningful upside and upward mobility for the right person—both in responsibility and long-term opportunity.
If you’re a skilled baker who enjoys leadership, structure, and building something with intention—while staying hands-on every day—we’d love to meet you.
