Salamtak Catering is looking for experienced assistant pastry chef that supports the head pastry chef in creating and preparing a variety of baked
goods and desserts, requiring a blend of culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and Baking: Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, and other desserts. This includes measuring ingredients, mixing, and following recipes accurately.
Decoration and Presentation: Help in decorating and plating baked goods to ensure they are visually appealing for service or sale.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and assist in ordering as needed to maintain stock.
Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the head pastry chef and other kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations in the pastry kitchen.
