The opportunity
Delaware North Travel is searching for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Detroit Airport in Detroit, Michigan. As the Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for managing the multi-unit daily operations, scheduling, hiring, mentoring staff, ensuring an excellent guest experience, performing monthly inventories as well as other various duties.

Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $50,400 - $68,000 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
- Assist in maintaining planned bar and restaurant cost of sales
- Hire, train, and manage an effective and collaborative group of team members, providing ongoing feedback on their job performance
- Research and develop new menus
- Follow control policies that elevate service standards for guests that align
More about you
- Minimum of 3 years' management experience (AGM or GM) in a high-volume restaurant is required
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively with team members, creating a positive work environment
- No degree required
