The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all Front-of-House operations and financial management of the restaurant. This includes hiring, managing, training, and disciplining both restaurant staff and management team members. The General Manager is expected to spend a significant amount of time on managerial duties and must use independent judgment and discretion in decision-making matters that impact the restaurant’s success. This position is accountable for achieving operational and sales targets while maintaining financial responsibility for the restaurant’s profitability and budgetary compliance. The General Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations at Frasca Hospitality Group (FHG) and must adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate on the creation of the annual budget in alignment with the partners' goals.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews with partners.
  • Manage all expenses in accordance with the budget.
  • Work with the Accounting department to generate necessary reports.
  • Achieve and surpass annual revenue goals.
  • Develop a yearly capital expenditures report.

Service Leadership:

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive relationship with the Executive Chef and kitchen team.
  • Inspire and lead the management and line teams toward achieving hospitality excellence.
  • Build relationships with VIP guests and regular patrons, assisting with reservations and special events.
  • Ensure timely and professional resolution of guest complaints.
  • Maximize seating capacity by managing reservations and host team effectively.
  • Lead the service team during five shifts per week, maintaining a minimum 50-hour workweek.

Training and Development:

  • Ensure all staff possess comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Communicate company values and objectives to the team.
  • Mentor management staff, setting yearly goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.

Property Management:

  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
  • Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain the restaurant’s exterior and grounds to a high standard.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Hospitality Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with experience managing staff, operations, and customer service in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control, with the ability to manage profit margins, control expenses, and drive revenue growth.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven track record in leading, motivating, and developing teams. Excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of training, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive team culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Excel, and Word.
  • Over one year of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Opentable, BentoBox, InDesign, Restaurant 365, and Toast.
  • Knowledge of Italian wines and cuisine.
  • Certified Sommelier with expertise in global wines and an emphasis on wine service in hospitality.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
