Summary (description):

We are looking for a knowledgeable, passionate, and service-focused Lead Bartender to join the team at Niku Steakhouse. While our restaurant is centered around Japanese Wagyu and open fire cooking, our operation is built on a foundation of respect for high quality ingredients, advanced techniques, and a focus on guest experience.

In collaboration with Niku Management Team, essential functions include but may not be limited to:
-Execute all standard duties of the bartender role with the upmost finesse.
-Cocktail menu development and cost control.
-Develop a complete working knowledge of all menu items, their ingredients and preparation.
-Assist management with supervision, training, and mentorship of bar team members.
-Assist with inventory management and procurement of bar product.
-Contribute to all-staff trainings, development programs, and daily education.
-Organizing systems for production and day to day operations
-Maintaining advanced working knowledge of classic cocktails, standard recipes, industry trends, seasonal ingredients, bar equipment, gastronomical techniques, and more.

Who we're looking for:
-Minimum of 2 years experience in similar leadership role(s) or higher.
-Fine Dining, Michelin Star, or equivalent level experience..
-Advanced cocktail, food, wine, and spirits knowledge.
-Strong leadership and team management abilities.
-Knowledge of bar management software and point-of-sale systems.

Pay Range: $23-$25/hr (based on experience) plus tips
