Annam Cafe is a quick-service Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Midtown, New York. Our focus is on serving fresh, flavorful Vietnamese dishes with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for passionate and hardworking Back of House team members to join our dynamic kitchen crew.

Positions Available:

• Prep Cook
• Line Cook
• Dishwasher
• Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Prep Cook / Line Cook

  • Prepare ingredients and cook authentic Vietnamese dishes according to our recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Follow food safety regulations and ensure all kitchen practices meet NYC standards.
  • Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

• Dishwasher/Porter

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, dining room, including workstations, counters, and floors.

• Kitchen Assistant

  • Support with food prep, ingredient stocking, and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist cooks in setting up and organizing kitchen stations.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a kitchen setting (preferred, but not required).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain high food safety standards.
