n/naka, a California inspired modern kaiseki restaurant led by Chef Niki Nakayama, is currently seeking qualified line cooks and junior sous chefs to join our team. We are searching for committed, detail oriented line cooks and junior sous chef with Michelin starred kitchen experience to join our team. This role requires advanced knife skills, Michelin level cooking experience, and the ability to adapt in a high pressure environment. Japanese culinary or other techincal precision driven cooking experience is required. We value teamwork, respect, self-discipline, and genuine care for the craft, guests, and the team.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of kitchen experience on the line in a Michelin starred restaurant, or high caliber Japanese restaurant, and must possess a very strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and a dedication to consistency and excellence.

  • We are open for regular dinner service Wed through Sat; Prep only, no service on Tue. Occassional non-holiday closures and off-site events.
