Baby Lucs of Carroll Gadens is looking to hire a Pizza Chef. Our project is a neighborhood pizzeria serving sicilian pies/slices, other menu items, and delicious things to drink.

The Pizza Chef will have experience working an Electric Oven.

Primary Duties:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or food service environment
• Preparing pizza dough from scratch. Stretch & Shape pizza dough by hand
• Washing, Slicing, Chopping & preparing fresh daily
• Cooking, Baking & Preparing sauces & meats, such as chicken & beef
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and adhere to food safety & standards
• Monitor inventory as up to code

Qualifications

• Work experience as a Pizza Chef or similiar role in a restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarilty with professional kitchen equipment & electric ovens
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of Food Hygeine

Essential

• A Passion for Pizza
• Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
• Provide legible communication.
• High school graduate or equivalent culinary training certificate.
• NYC Food Handlers

Physical Abilities

• Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds.
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
