POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Cotogna Event Sales Manager oversees the catering and private dining operations of Cotogna. The Event Sales Manager is fundamentally responsible for booking, planning, and marketing of the restaurants’ private dining and Chef’s Table Program. The role will work directly with the Director of Events, Restaurant General Managers, Chefs and Ownership to ensure that all events are executed to the requisite Quince & Co standards and that the restaurant private dining department operates in accordance with their established budgetary goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The scope and span of the position include but are not limited to the following:

COTOGNA PRIVATE DINING

Booking, Planning and Management of Private events and Small Group Dining:

  • Manage and oversee Triple Seat platform for all event planning
  • Responding to all leads and responsible for all event bookings
  • Menu planning with clients to determine needs and requests
  • Hosting site visits
  • Coordinating menus and service with Chef de Cuisine, Wine Department and FOH Management for proper execution of each event
  • Post events follow up.
  • Distribute, post and review weekly function sheets (BOE) with all both FOH and BOH teams in all assigned locations.
  • Develop contacts and maintain a tracking system to ensure on-going relationship with existing client base and the development of future clients.
  • Ensure prompt responses are given to all incoming event inquiries.
  • Maintain and develop all sales material and collateral pertaining to private dining and special events.
  • Prepare and print all day of materials for events
  • Assist with Tusk Events offsite production

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Maintain accurate financial records of the Cotogna private dining programming.
  • Complete all Events pro formas.
  • Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure that the private dining department achieve all budgetary goals.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability to work every day of the week including holidays
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at time
  • Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
  • Food Handler’s Certificate
  • Responsible Beverage Server Certificaiton
