Restaurant in the East Village is looking for a talented bartender/manager to take over the beverage program. The position involves working behind the bar during service (Tue - Sat, dinner only), creating and batching cocktails, selecting and ordering wine and beer, and generally being the point person for the floor staff.
We are a small and dedicated team, so we're looking for the right personality as well as the right experience. Calm under pressure, good judgment, sense of urgency when it counts, and an overall positive and dependable demeanor.
