About Us:

Eiffel Seafood Restaurant is an upcoming Vietnamese fusion with American cuisine establishment committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to play a pivotal role in our pre-opening activities and day to day activities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-opening Planning:

    • Work alongside the General Manager to plan and execute pre-opening activities.
    • Assist in the development of operational strategies and procedures.
  2. Operational Support:

    • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure a seamless pre-opening phase.
    • Assist in hiring and training staff for the restaurant's launch.
  3. Staff Management:

    • Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for the opening.
    • Facilitate day-to-day responsibilities of other job roles, including servers, hostess, bussers, barbacks, etc.
    • Assist in scheduling and coordinating team activities.
  4. Customer Service Setup:

    • Contribute to the establishment of high-quality customer service standards.
    • Actively participate in providing exceptional customer service.
    • Assist in creating a positive and welcoming environment for guests.
  5. Quality Control:

    • Contribute to maintaining quality standards in service, food, and presentation.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth coordination between front and back of house.
  6. Financial Planning:

    • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for the pre-opening phase.
    • Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service excellence.
  7. Inventory Setup:

    • Oversee the setup of initial inventory levels and ordering of supplies.
    • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  8. Team Leadership:

    • Motivate and lead the pre-opening team by setting a positive example.
    • Facilitate the day-to-day responsibilities of various job roles, ensuring smooth operations.
    • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  9. Event Coordination:

    • Contribute to planning and coordinating special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives leading up to the grand opening.

Active Participation During Restaurant Hours:

  1. Hands-On Approach:
    • Actively participate during restaurant hours, engaging with guests and team members.
    • Facilitate and support the day-to-day responsibilities of servers, hostess, bussers, barbacks, and other roles as needed.
    • Demonstrate a hands-on approach to management, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role, particularly in pre-opening or opening phases.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of seafood and fine dining is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager and other team members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
