A Hotel Restaurant is Seeking for a Fine Dining Room Captain

Captain Description

Hakubai is a newly redesigned fine-dining Kaiseki restaurant located in The Prince Kitano Hotel, New York City’s only Japanese owned and operated luxury hotel. The menu will feature a 10-course tasting menu focused on seasonal ingredients with traditional execution. The hotel is conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers on New York City’s coveted Park Avenue near Grand Central Station.

We are seeking an experienced and refined Captain to participate in this exciting re-opening. Our Captains are career motivated and inquisitive with the desire to learn new service styles and techniques. While previous Japanese restaurant experience is not required, knowledge of Japanese ingredients and beverages is preferred.

Wine and Spirits knowledge is a requirement as we will offer a wine pairing with the guest experience as well as an extensive wine and spirits list.

This is a full-time position - the restaurant will operate evenings from Tuesday through Saturday.

We are excited to have you join our team!
