Job Details
We are seeking a floor manager to help the General Manager with day-to-day operations. This position reports to the General Manager and oversees front-of-house restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, support staff, bussers and barbacks.
Responsibilities:
-Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures.
-Help with the new hire paperwork and training of new staff members.
-Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves all employee and guests incidents
-Ensures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectively
-Inspects dining room and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
-Assists with ordering
-Maintain safety and security of the venue and the guests and employees on site
-Ensure lighting, temperature, music, cleanliness and other environmental aspects of the venue are appropriate for guests
-Performs other duties as required or assigned
-Comply with local, state and federal health department and labor standards
Qualifications:
-High School diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable restaurant and/or hospitality management experience
-Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals
-Capable of setting priorities, planning, organizing, delegating, and controlling processes
-Flexibility and openness to change course according to the needs of the business
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
-Strong management, organizational, and data analysis skills
Salary Range $68-80k, Potential Bonuses, Paid Time Off, Employee Discounts, Retirement savings plan
