The Perfect Table is a premiere New York City based off-premise caterer. Our story began over 40 years ago in the heart of the Garment District and our roots run deep throughout the city and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for a Chef with a background in both corporate drop-off and special events catering. The ideal candidate will not only have a passion for food but the ability to innovate and CREATE! This person will have a background in corporate drop-off catering as well as large-scale dinners and cocktail events.
Recipe for Success:
· Strong leader with exceptional communication skills
· Highly organized with a great work ethic
· Hands-on leadership. This position entails working side by side with the existing team
· Proven track record of developing and implementing systems
· Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership in high volume catering
Responsibilities:
· Review existing corporate drop-off & events menus
· Design unique presentations for new menu items
· Create unique seasonal menus/menu items
· Maintain quality control of all food items produced
· Work with sales to help build client-specific menus
· Produce and disseminate production schedules for all orders and events
· Build and maintain relationships with existing suppliers (new vendor relationships are welcome)
