Introduction:

We are seeking a friendly and professional FOH Shift Leader to join our small team and provide excellent service to our guests in South Philly. The Shift Leader will be responsible for taking orders, preparing sandwiches and drinks, ensuring that our guests have a positive experience, and supervising the cashier/s. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service, including making recommendations and answering questions about menu items
• Take orders and prepare sandwiches and drinks, including executing recipes for drinks and sandwiches (some kitchen experience preferred)
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables and washing dishes and utensils
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
• Delivering baked products from our off site kitchen to the store daily (valid driver’s license and good driving record a must)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server/barista or similar role in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
