We are seeking a motivated and flexible Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, managing HR functions, and supporting the company's overall human resources strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, candidate screening, and orientation sessions.
- Completing onboarding and offboarding procedures as well as paperwork with all staff
- Managing employee relations and addressing concerns to promote a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
- Administering HR policies and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Overseeing performance management processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
- Handling employee benefits administration and addressing inquiries related to benefits packages.
- Coordinating training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and managing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) updates.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting HR initiatives and projects as needed.
- Managing adherence to local labor laws as they apply to
- Assisting the Reservationist/Host team with responding to inquiries regarding reservations via email and phone
- Assisting the Accounting team with payroll and accounts payable through PayChex and Fixe
- Working in tandem with management teams to complete paperwork
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of office space
Qualifications:
- English/Spanish Bilingual Preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, highly desired
- Proven experience in HR roles with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices, required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Previous experience with Paychex, Fixe, and PlateiQ
- Flexibility in role duties as they are needed for the business
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $75,000.00)
