\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Runs completed dishes to guests without “auctioning” off food items at table
    • \n
  • Describe various food dishes to customers
    • \n
  • Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu
    • \n
  • Checks with guests regularly during dining experience to confirm satisfaction
    • \n
  • Acts as support to bus servers, when possible
    • \n
  • Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized and stocked
    • \n
  • Ensures all tables and chairs are steady and sturdy
    • \n
  • Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact,
    • \n
  • respectable conversation and smiling
    • \n
  • Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
    • \n
  • Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Board of Health
    • \n
  • Performs other related activities as assigned
    • \n
\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School education required; will need reading and arithmetic skills and understanding
    • \n
  • One to two years previous experience preferred
    • \n
  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills; strong customer service background
    • \n
  • Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
    • \n
  • Appropriately groomed for direct engagement with clientele
    • \n
  • Understands ramifications of third-party liability insurance
    • \n
  • Will be exposed to various environmental conditions such as cold due to refrigeration or heat due to hot
    • \n
  • surfaces or espresso machines
    • \n
  • Exposure to some chemicals
    • \n
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds often
    • \n
  • Ability to sit, stand and bend would be required
    • \n
