Primary Objective of Position:

• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and outlet service ware/cooking utensils. Transport and store all service ware and kitchen utensils in designated areas. Maintain tehe cleanliness of physical surroundings.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Responsible for reporting any equipment in need of repair to Executive Steward for service
• Responsible for the operation of the burnishing machine to de-tarnish and polish silver to ensure proper appearance
• Remove all trash from Food & Beverage service area and transport garbage bins to dumpster located in dock area
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen outlets in order to adhere to IL State sanitation regulations
• Restock all clean silverware, glassware, plates and cooking utensils
• Clean, sweep and mop floors to avoid slips/falls
• Perform other duties and tasks in the kitchen and storage areas as requested, such as moving supplies and equipment between storage/working areas

Experience Required:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 6 months to a 1 year of previous janitorial experience required
• Hospitality experience preferred
• IL Sanitation License required
