About Us
At Chalet, we invite you to dine, drink, and party as you would in your favorite mountain town. Spring, summer, fall, or winter — we’ve got a seat for you. From great food to great music featuring R&B and Hip Hop.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of a high foot traffic restaurant. Weekends plus one day a week at the restaurant and one day of operations.
Responsibilities
- Be an owner. Build and maintain a highly efficient restaurant and motivated team.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team consisting of FOH and BOH roles
- Manage operations and finances of business
- Build an amazing team. Define hiring needs, and train new team members
- Ensure that quality of work and condition of the venue are maintained
- Manage all liquor ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Manage repairs and third party contractors for any maintenance needs
- Lead weekly manager meetings, oversee employee service training, quality control, pre-shifting, and set an example for the culture of the team
- Manage performance. Track and report critical metrics. Use data to optimize processes, creatively solve problems, and track results.
- Strong communicator. Communicate across the company to ensure timely resolutions, quality control, and process feedback. Synthesize feedback and recommendations to central operations, business, and other team members.
- Solutions-based thinker. Lead urgent projects, prioritize tasks, and overcome obstacles that come your way.
- Be a culture carrier. Create a fun, inclusive, and safe workplace and client experience.
- Ensure that quality of work and condition of the business and vessels are maintained.
- Manage repairs and third party contractors for any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Management and Customer Service experience
- Table and bottle service experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Restaurant Management experience
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($50,000.00 - $70,000.00)
