One of LA’s top Michelin starred Chefs is seeking a talented Chef de Cuisine! This is for a tasting menu format concept with a stunning aesthetic backdrop. Early foundation in James Beard or Michelin establishments with recent experience in chef-driven seasonal kitchens highly preferred. Great opportunity with a strong team that has low turnover.
Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Create dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients
- Staff Management including scheduling, hiring and training
- Leading and Mentoring a strong team
- Coaching and developing the team
- Effectively Manage Costs and Labor
- Creating thoughtful food that fits the aesthetic of the restaurant
Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements:
- 3+ years minimum experience in similar role (Chef de Cuisine, Exec Sous, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef) or 1 year as Executive Chef
- Solid grasp on menu costing, food cost, and labor cost
- Early foundation in Michelin or James Beard establishments highly preferred.
- Passion for both food and guest satisfaction
- Ability to effectively oversee Sous Chefs
- Highly motivated, passionate, and have a strong sense of humility
- Flexibility in scheduling including working nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation includes:
- Base salary in the $80-100k range dependent on experience with a small amount of flexibility to come up to $110k
- PTO plan
- 100% medical coverage for individual

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $110,000.00)
