THE POSITION
Melba’s is seeking Bartenders with significant high volume restaurant operations experience for our teams.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Bartender is responsible for preparing, mixing and serving consistently excellent beverages to guests either directly or through serving staff, following all standard operating procedures and recipes and providing warm, knowledgeable service to bar guests.

Specific responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and serve beverages to guests
• Follow creative direction and costing parameters to develop seasonal, special and signature cocktails, and beverage experiences
• Push the boundaries of creativity and keep the north star of the best bars of the world as the target mark for success
• Proactively participate in bar and bartender learning opportunities
• Study, grow, maintain and master all of Melba’s service and beverage standards

COMPENSATION
The Bartender will be paid $16/hr plus tips

REQUIREMENTS:

• Open Availability
• Minimum 2+ years’ front of house experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Polished personal presentation; grooming meets Melba’s standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions
• Ability to perform essential job functions when working under stress, in fast-paced environment
• Ability to withstand outside climate conditions, and inclement weather
