We are looking for a new Door Person at Alice’s Lounge! We are a busy 4am bar with an awesome crowd of karaoke goers. The door person is an essential part of our team that helps to ensure successful service every evening. This person will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of staff members and guests alike.

Pay: $20/hr plus 5% of tips from the day worked.

Duties:

• Check IDs at door for legitimacy and appropriate ages (21+) according to BASSET guidelines
• Be attentive to needs on the floor such as, but not limited to, dropped glassware, potentially problematic guests, and staff needing assistance getting guests off the premises
• Keep track of guest counts to help ensure we stay within capacity limits
• Work together with door and bar team to properly control all exits and entrances
• Being present on the floor to be proactive in assessing any problematic situations/behaviors
• Maintain order of lines and guests gathered outside the bar
• Greet and say goodbye to all guests in a hospitable manner
• Assist in clearing out the bar, closing duties, and stocking coolers at the end of the night
• Ensure all staff members leave at/around the same time in groups to ensure their safety

Requirements

• Current, valid BASSET certification
