We are looking for an energetic, passionate and hardworking person to lead the kitchen of our bustling young wine bar & restaurant. The ideal candidate is responsible for the planning, supervising and training of the kitchen staff, creative problem solving at a moment’s notice and curating a menu with innovative, delicious food, executed impeccably.

The ideal candidate must be inventive, adaptable and inspire their staff to go above and beyond the expectations of their particular roles. We take hospitality very seriously and expect all of our staff to have a genuine love of people and a serious passion for dining.

Required Skills

  • Spirit! Friendly & Positive
  • Passion for food & wine!!!
  • Must be a self starter, comfortable self managing
  • Strong Kitchen Management skills such as food costing, purchasing, scheduling, inventory & ServeSafe training
  • Strong knife and line skills: Must be able to kick ass on ALL stations - GM, Saute, Grill & Expo
  • Enthusiasm for the cuisine of wine-producing countries
  • A respect for ingredients, including where and who they are sourced from
  • Impeccable oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Team player and team builder
  • Superior Leadership skills with master delegation abilities
  • Work ethic of a Beast

  • Must be able to work on your feet for long hours, reach, bend & stretch, easily navigate a tight line & lift carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience

10 Years minimum of fine dining or casual fine dining restaurant experience with at least 2 years as an Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef.

Proficient with spreadsheets

Ability to budget, cost, order, receive and hold staff to the highest standards of quality.
