Zola + BarZola is looking for a CDC to lead its Bistro inspired seasonal cooking. The kitchen services both the bar and restaurant 5 nights a week with the same menu. The ideal candidate will be strongly motivated to understand our guests needs; cooking for them first and for ourselves second while staying true to our French Bistro roots.
The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- 50 hours a week of in person work
- Ordering for kitchen and bar program (produce)
- Proper labeling and organizing of kitchen area
- Daily specials
- Recipe development
- Hiring and training of cooks
- Scheduling of cooks
- Maintain consistency in portion size and item plating
- Maintaining 28% food cost
