Micheline is an upcoming elevated French bistro in Scarsdale (30min from NYC). We aim to offer the residents of Westchester and beyond a delicious and a fun dining experience. Attentive and genuine hospitality meets delectable French cuisine, an exciting wine list, and craft cocktails, all in a lively and warm atmosphere. We aim to become both a destination and a neighborhood restaurant where cultivating regulars and welcoming first time guests are as important.
We are searching for a passionate and experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations of the restaurant and work closely with both the owner and Executive Chef. The General Manager will be responsible for building and leading the Micheline dining room team. They shall actively lead by example, inspire, and teach skills that will elevate the guest experience, the team, and the restaurant.

- Experienced managing labor, scheduling, and training and leading a team.
- Must possess the desire to operationally support the business as an individual contributor and leader.
- Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), payroll, POS, and reservation systems.
- You have knowledge and interest in wine and spirits.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant hospitality management experience.
- Food Serve Safe certified.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the owner to develop and execute strategies to achieve operational goals at the restaurant level – in regard to hospitality, service standards, and financial operation.
- Build and manage a team of dining room and kitchen team members, while coordinating both operations.
- Develop SOPs with ownership.
- Cultivate a culture of genuine hospitality.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Train new and current employees on proper hospitality SOPs.
- Actively participate in service – leading from the front.
- Implement, oversee, and maintain all company policies and procedures.
- Schedule, organize and supervise shifts
- Prepare tip reconciliations on a daily basis as part of weekly payroll processing.
- Maintain standards according to DOH, safety and employment regulations.
- Collaborate with ownership and Executive Chef to meet and/or exceed sales and budget targets.
Physical demands:
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
