Monterey is hiring an Executive Sous Chef. Monterey is a new restaurant opened by Chef Driven. Simon Oren, Dudi Sasson and Chef James Tracey bring midtown Manhattan a glamorous bold American restaurant. Executive Chef/Partner James Tracey is a nationally acclaimed chef with over 30 years of cooking experience in the kitchens of Craft, Starr Restaurants, Gramercy Tavern, Colicchio & Sons and Lespinasse. The menu circles the globe offering Chef Tracey’s seasonal cuisine alongside an extensive selection of Prime Dry-Aged Steaks, and Roast Prime Rib of Beef.

We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Sous Chef with a strong team orientation, outgoing and friendly personalities, a passion for great food, and a commitment to excellence to join our team. We are looking for a Leader excited not only to manage our kitchen staff and daily operation, but to collaborate, elevate our guest & employee work experiences, and to exceed expectations.

We are looking for an ambitious individual with previous management experience and the motivation to lead by example. Applicant should be interested in operating a high energy, high profile kitchen.
