Newly opened, chic hotel in Williamsburg is looking for a talented line cook. The cuisine is modern American inspired, featuring bites and small plates. We are open nightly from 4pm to 11pm, breakfast from 7:30am-11am, and for weekend brunch 7:30am-3pm.
The job is full-time, about 35 hours per week. Morning, night, and weekend availability is highly preferred, as is the versatility to be able to cook breakfast, brunch, and dinner.
What we are looking for:
- The ability to work different kitchen stations including garde manger, grill, fryer, saute, etc.
- The ability to cook brunch including working the flat-top and cooking eggs.
- Works clean, neat, and organized at all times.
- Team oriented, but able to work independently.
- NYC Food Handler Certificate is strongly preferred.
- Hard working with the ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
