Newly opened, chic hotel in Williamsburg is looking for a strong Kitchen Supervisor to help lead and grow the food & beverage program. The cuisine is modern American inspired, featuring bites and small plates. We are open nightly from 5pm to 11pm, breakfast from 7:30am-11am, and weekend brunch from 7:30am-3pm.

What we are looking for:

• Team oriented, but able to work independently.
• Knowledgeable about food, beer, wine, and service.
• Hard working with a strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.

What the job entails:

• Supervise and coordinate BOH Operations.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with prep and service, acting as the lead line cook when necessary.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared and served.
• Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food, including ordering and inventory.
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Supervisor and Food & Beverage Director to oversee smooth F&B operations within the hotel.
• Handle guest complaints in restaurants and event spaces.
• Work with ownership to create and roll-out promotions to drive business.
