LIttle Urban Foods, is a small catering company located on the Upper East Side that serves seasonal New American cuisine. Little Urban focuses on small film shoots, office caterings and intimate events. The teams' goal is to bring Michelin starred techniques and service to events and meals around the city. Little Urbans focus is on the guest experience to create a special event regardless if it's a wedding, a corporate lunch, or a happy hour our goal is to make it memorable. We create customized menus that change daily so, the amount of product and learning that goes into the job will always be changing.
- Executing menu items from start to finish, which includes preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, vegetable cookery, etc.
- Working with very high volume production
- Working with fresh seasonal ingredients
- Expanding your existing skill set by learning new techniques
What we are looking for:
- All levels of experience
- Strongly motivated person with positive attitude and hard working
- Good communication skills with other cooks & Staff
- NYC Food Handler’s Certificate is a plus
- Sense of Urgency and Strong attention to Detail
