The Santa Cruz Co. is looking to hire experienced and dedicated Assistant Servers!

We are seeking dedicated Assistant Servers who thrive in a high-level leadership position. This role directly supports the Server assisting with marking silverware and glassware as well as clearing. We offer a supportive working and learning environment that fosters growth and promotes excellence.


Expectations:

  • Create a warm and hospitable environment for guests and colleagues
  • Uphold high-level service standards
  • A friendly disposition and proactive nature (always maintain a fully stocked station throughout the duration of service)
  • Is ready and willing to assist fellow team members as needed
  • Adheres to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry
  • Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
  • Previous food and beverage experience as a busser, runner, or serving assistant capacity
  • Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
  • Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
  • This is a full-time position
