Swingers – the crazy golf club is currently looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Guest Experience to join our growing team and upcoming Navy Yard location. In addition to excellent benefits and an annual compensation of $110,000 you will also receive a $10,000 signing bonus 90 days after the official opening of the venue. As part of the Training process, you will spend time in our Dupont Circle and New York City locations prior to opening!

The role:

The Assistant General Manager for guest experience is a hands-on role ensuring the seamless operation of the course, reception and floor teams, through managing the respective managers. They oversee all floor activities related to service and entertainment on any assigned shift acting in the capacity of either a Manager on Duty or Lead Manager. With an overriding focus on team and guest experience the AGM balances operational excellence, commercial acumen, safety compliance and enhanced emotional intelligence. On a regular basis they deputize for the General Manager and regularly demonstrate their ability to think beyond the immediate shift and their direct remit.

Our perfect candidate has:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Senior Management role, ideally as an AGM or GM, within a high volume, experiential/hospitality led quality venue
• TIPS alcohol certification
• Food handling certification
• Excellent communication at all levels
• Strong leadership ability
• Strong financial acumen
• The ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time
• The experience to operate at a high level under the direction of the management team
• The ability to manage multiple operational and managerial tasks simultaneously
• Personal maturity to deal with confidential information and/or issues with discretion and sound judgment
• The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
