We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join the company’s Corporate Accounting team and support the company’s rapid growth. You will assist the team by executing controls and processes to meet our operational and reporting requirements that will help scale and shape our business. This position, which reports to the Senior Revenue Accountant, will work on preparing customer invoices, collecting payments from customers, and reconciling payments from customers, as well as processing and recording accounts payable transactions, reconciling company credit cards, and reviewing and processing employee expense report reimbursements.

What you'll do:

  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Responsible for day to day management of A/R and customer invoicing
    • Collect payment from customers and accurately record it in the system
    • Ability to discuss order entry and/or invoicing issues with internal or external customers
    • Generate customer invoices timely and accurately
    • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
    • Continuous evaluation of current practices to recommend process improvements
    • Work closely with accounting in reconciling various accounts each month and assist with month end processes
    • Prepare and review AR aging reports routinely and identify delinquent accounts for immediate action
    • Ad-hoc projects as assigned
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process and record accounts payable transactions, as well as managing vendor relationships (Bill.com experience preferred)
    • Review and reconcile company credit cards, including collaborating across departments to obtain necessary support
    • Review and process employee expense report reimbursements
    • Ad-hoc projects as assigned

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Data entry skills
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data
  • Positive, enthusiastic energy with a desire to learn
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred but not required
  • Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
  • 0 – 5 years of AR/AP experience
  • Microsoft Excel experience is preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, and Brex a plus

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of our offices: San Francisco, CA or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week. #LI-hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the hourly rate, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
