What you'll do:
As the Director, Fulfillment Operations, you will lead production operations executing excellence in the areas of safety, quality, sanitation, delivery, and cost. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive environment and building a world class team that improves our customer experience through on-time delivery, efficiency and impeccable quality. You’ll partner closely with fulfillment and corporate based teams to scale operations, optimize processes, and implement change management across a dynamically growing business.
Lead, manage, and coach the operations team tasked with a mission to achieve 100% quality on-time, every time with our customers.
Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment for the site in compliance with OSHA and corporate requirements.
Build a behavior based culture around safety and quality that drives team ownership and accountability with safety, GMP and Built in Quality best practices.
Implement processes and structure that drive repeatable, predictable KPI outcomes for the operation, including identifying and implementing opportunities to improve operational performance and efficiencies in the areas of safety, quality, root cause corrective action (RCCA), productivity, financial discipline, and staffing.
Be a leader in fulfillment operations and assist with defining the operational strategy and roadmap, along with paths to execute for the organization.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field (ideally with a quantitative focus) with 8+ years of related experience (5+ years experience in people management) in a production and/or fulfillment environment of a 100+ hourly/salary organization preferred.
Experienced with building operating systems and team culture that lead to improved employee engagement and compliance around requirements and company policies.
Have a demonstrated track record of translating business goals into actions and measuring the impact; highly proficient in analyzing and monitoring trends, and root causing issues.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate successfully across all levels of the organization, from the fulfillment associates to the executive team.
Enjoy engaging and developing people at all levels, in all parts of the business whether they are remote or onsite, hourly or salaried, peer or team members.
Nice to have:
- Have worked in a direct-to-consumer and/or consumer packaged goods (CPG) company; experience working in a regulated industry (strong preference in a FDA environment).

Where you’ll be:

You will spend your time working in a hybrid working environment. You will be expected to work onsite at our Brooklyn, NY based office 5 days/week.
Salary & Bonus:
NYC Metro-Area Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000*
Role Level: 5
Your compensation for this role will be based on how your experience aligns with our internal role-leveling, and our internal pay equity standards. You will be eligible to participate in our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) which is a cash bonus. Our AIP rewards the achievement of both annual company and annual individual performance objectives. Each employee’s target opportunity for an annual incentive award is a percentage of base salary and varies per role level.
*We have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
