The Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented Business Analyst that has hands-on expertise with industry standard business applications such as Salesforce. This role will serve as a critical bridge between our business stakeholders and our technical teams, transforming complex business challenges into actionable requirements.
The ideal candidate will act as a partner, and not an order taker; challenging the status quo, identifying inefficiencies, unlocking growth opportunities, and helping to ensure a seamless customer journey across our complete customer lifecycle.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $115,000 - $173,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze, document, and propose improvements to business processes within Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Salesforce Expertise: Use your knowledge and previous experience to understand how a requirement may translate into implementation tasks in Salesforce or other integrated applications
- Data Analysis: Use data from Salesforce and other systems to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery when executing on major internal initiatives
Who You Are
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Salesforce: Proven experience with Salesforce, including administration, configuration, and a strong understanding of its Sales and Service Clouds
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Process-Oriented: A solid understanding of business process mapping and documentation (e.g., flowcharts, swimlane diagrams).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,Business Management/ Administration, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in the following subject matter areas are considered an asset:
- Salesforce CPQ
- Salesforce ServiceCloud
- Salesforce ExperienceCloud
- Salesforce Admin
- SAFe Certification, PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile based Certification to support our Project and Program approach
- Business Analyst certifications are considered an asset. Examples include:
- Intl Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
- ECBA or CCBA
- PMI Professional Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
- Exposure to any of the following technologies is also desirable:
- Certinia (FinancialForce)
- Ironclad CLM
- Docusign
- NetSuite
- Databricks (including AI Agents)
- ETL tools such as boomi, Informatica, Mulesoft etc.
