Position Summary:
Revolution Space is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support supply chain functions for our in-space propulsion products. The Supply Chain Specialist will support improving and executing our planning and procurement process with the goal of the Perfect Order: delivering the right materials, in the right quantity, at the right time, in the right condition, with the right documentation, and at the right cost - every time.
The position is full-time located at our Boston, MA headquarters and is available to be filled immediately.
Responsibilities:
· Material requirements planning: Determine the need for material and capacity to address expected demand; plan, schedule and execute the resulting plans, and update planning and financial information to reflect the results.
· Sourcing and purchasing (placing Purchase Orders) of materials for support of manufacturing operations
· Schedule purchasing and deliveries to meet demand requirements
· Define, setup and monitor inventory controls
· Monitor and check supply chain for errors, taking appropriate corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
· Education or training in material requirements planning, sourcing, purchasing, scheduling, inventory management, supplier relationship management - APICS certification a plus.
· 3+ years of relevant work experience aerospace, military, electronics, semiconductor, electro-mechanical assembly
· Proficient with data entry and analysis (e.g. Excel, MRP systems)
· High level of learning agility: pro-active ability and willingness to learn and apply
· Action oriented – can take action from being given directions
· Capable to understand the big picture supply chain and also be accountable to execute the details with accuracy
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to clearly and concisely communicate
· Eligibility and ability to obtain a government security clearance
