Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in supporting various teams and maintaining a positive office culture.
Responsibilities:
Streamline communication and information flow within the office
Handle office supplies, equipment, kitchen, and maintenance needs
Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries and provide general support
Collaborate with leadership to address team needs
Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Address facility-related issues promptly and efficiently
Plan office and company events
Implement and enforce office policies and procedures
Manage shipping and receiving
Book Travel
Procurement of office and lab equipment
Book meetings both in person and virtually
Oversee office space utilization and ensure a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
Required:
3-5 years' experience in office management or a related role
Associated or High School Diploma/ GED
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in office software and tools
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Willing to learn new systems and software
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field
5-10 years office management experience
Experience working in a startup environment
2-3 years procurement experience
Proficient in SharePoint
Experience working in a highly regulated environment
